Alicia Mathers, PhD

Alicia Mathers, PhD joined the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Dermatology in 2009, after completing her post-doctoral training in the Departments of Dermatology and Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh.  She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, with a secondary appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Immunology. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from West Virginia University, and completed her PhD in microbiology and Immunology at West Virginia University.  

Dr. Mathers serves as the Director of the Dermatology quantitative RT-PCR core facility, and the Director of the Dermatology Psoriasis Tissue Bank.
