Douglas Kress, M.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh, and is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
Dr. Kress completed his postgraduate training and residency at the University of Pittsburgh, prior to completing a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He was named Chief of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in 2001, and was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology in 2006. In 2004, Dr. Kress became one of the first group of physicians in the United States to receive specific board certification in Pediatric Dermatology.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kress is active in teaching dermatology residents at the University of Pittsburgh and Physician Assistant students at Chatham University.
