We have an abundance of clinical resources in all areas of dermatology including:

  • General Dermatology
  • Pediatric Dermatology
  • Dermatopathology
  • Mohs Surgery
  • General Dermatologic Surgery
  • Cosmetic Dermatology
  • Dermatologic Oncology including Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma

Additionally, we have specialty clinics including:

  • Wound-Healing Clinic
  • Pigmented Lesion Clinic
  • Contact Dermatitis Clinic
  • Cutaneous Immunology Clinic

Every resident receives didactic and clinical instruction throughout the residency program. In addition to clinical precepting, clinical faculty share their expertise with residents through resident rotations, grand rounds, and various lectures. Each resident has a continuity clinic that extends through all three years of residency. It is designed to provide residents with a patient base that they manage throughout the residency program. Didactic educational opportunities within the program include Grand Rounds, Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology, nationally respected guest lecturers, and weekly integrated academic curriculum reviewing clinical, basic science, pharmacy and therapeutics as well as dermatopathologic aspects of dermatology.
